multiple-media.com builds UnisourceDesign.ca
The world of Canadian graphic arts is undergoing a revolution of sorts with the birth of UnisourceDesign.ca, a transactional web site where graphic design companies can order samples, receive suggestions of paper to use for their projects, enter contests and keep abreast with news of the industry.
This is sophisticated web site, the innovative concept and design of which were created by Pénéga Communications, was built by the multiple-media.com team for Unisource, premier distributor of commercial printing and business imaging papers, packaging systems and facility supplies and equipment in Canada.
Thanks to MMCM, the Content Management System (CMS) developed by multiple-media.com, Unisource will do its own daily web site maintenance and real-time updates – for example by posting the projects entered for the design contests.
The MMCM team also developed a tailored to fit to architecture for the site, as well as a backoffice technical infrastructure that will be used to process orders, information requests, sample requests and contest entries.
Finally, the Web site as well as the applications it relies upon will be hosted by multiple-media.com.
